Samsung Galaxy S6 has an overall score of 85.1, which is a bit better than iPhone 6 Plus's general score of 78.2. Samsung Galaxy S6 is a a little bit thinner and somewhat lighter phone than the iPhone 6 Plus, although they were released with only 7 months difference. The Samsung Galaxy S6 comes with Android 5.0 OS, while iPhone 6 Plus counts with iOS 8.x OS.
Galaxy S6 has a bit more powerful CPU than Apple iPhone 6 Plus, and although they both have a 64-bits processor, the Galaxy S6 also has more CPU cores, 2 GB more RAM and a much better GPU. Galaxy S6 features a bit more vivid display than iPhone 6 Plus, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a higher pixels density.
IPhone 6 Plus and Galaxy S6 have really similar storage to install applications and games, both of them have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage. Apple iPhone 6 Plus counts with just a little bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S6, because it has a 14% greater battery size. The Galaxy S6 has a much better camera than Apple iPhone 6 Plus, because it has a back facing camera with a much better 16 megapixels resolution, a way better (4K) video quality, a larger sensor which offers a higher image and video quality and a bigger aperture.
Although Galaxy S6 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Apple iPhone 6 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Apple iPhone 6 Plus. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Apple iPhone 6 Plus, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your budget.
