IPhone 8 Plus has a score of 87.1, which is much better than the Motorola Moto X (2014)'s 73.4 score. IPhone 8 Plus's construction is noticeably newer and thinner, but much heavier than the Motorola Moto X (2014). Apple iPhone 8 Plus has just a bit better processing power than Moto X (2014), because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a 64-bit processor, more RAM and a greater number of cores (but slower).

Moto X (2014) counts with a bit more vivid display than iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Moto X (2014) also counts with a just a little greater pixel density. IPhone 8 Plus counts with a little bit better camera than Moto X (2014), because although it has a lower video definition and a lower 12 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor and a larger aperture for better low light captures.

Apple iPhone 8 Plus features much more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Moto X (2014), because it has more internal storage capacity. IPhone 8 Plus features a little longer battery life than Motorola Moto X (2014), because it has a 17 percent bigger battery size.

Although iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Moto X (2014), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Moto X (2014). If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Moto X (2014), letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
