Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S6 has a global score of 83.5, which is slightly better than Google Pixel 2's 81.6 global score. Although Samsung Galaxy S6 is much older than Google Pixel 2, it's design is just a bit lighter and somewhat thinner. The Samsung Galaxy S6 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Google Pixel 2, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with an additional graphics co-processor and a 64-bits processor.
The Galaxy S6 has a sharper screen than Google Pixel 2, because it has a better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, a little larger display and a greater quantity of pixels per inch of display. Google Pixel 2 features a lot bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity.
Galaxy S6 takes a little bit better photos and videos than Google Pixel 2, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for capturing pictures and/or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same camera sensor size, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a back camera with lot more megapixels.
The Google Pixel 2 counts with a bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6, because it has a 6% larger battery size.
Although Galaxy S6 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Google Pixel 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Pixel 2. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Google Pixel 2, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
