Comparison review

The Galaxy S6 has an overall score of 83.5, which is just a bit better than the Google Pixel 3 XL's score of 80.7. The Galaxy S6 is an noticeably older phone than Google Pixel 3 XL, but Samsung made it notably lighter and somewhat thinner anyway. The Samsung Galaxy S6 features a much better looking screen than Google Pixel 3 XL, because although it has a quite smaller display and a little bit lower resolution of 2560 x 1440, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per display inch.

The Google Pixel 3 XL has a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S6, because it has more internal memory. Samsung Galaxy S6 has a bit more powerful CPU than Google Pixel 3 XL, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and an additional graphics processing unit.

Galaxy S6 features a bit better camera than Google Pixel 3 XL, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor giving a worse image quality and a smaller aperture which is not nice for low-light captures and videos, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a much more mega-pixels back camera.

Google Pixel 3 XL features greater battery lifetime than Galaxy S6, because it has a 35% larger battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy S6 is a better device, it costs more than the Google Pixel 3 XL, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Google Pixel 3 XL. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the Google Pixel 3 XL, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
