Comparison review

Galaxy S6 is slightly better than the Google Pixel, getting an 85.1 score against 80.2. The Galaxy S6 body is way thinner and just a little lighter than the Google Pixel, even though it was released about 19 months before. The Samsung Galaxy S6 has a way better looking screen than Google Pixel, because it has a greater screen density, a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a little bigger display.

Google Pixel counts with a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6, because it has more internal memory. The Galaxy S6 counts with a quite superior performance than Google Pixel, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores , a 64-bits processor and an extra graphics processing unit.

Google Pixel features a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy S6, because it has 2770mAh of battery capacity against 2550mAh. The Galaxy S6 captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Google Pixel, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor shooting worse quality videos and images, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a larger aperture for better photography and videos in poorly lited situations and a back facing camera with a way higher 16 mega-pixels resolution.

Although Samsung Galaxy S6 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Google Pixel, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S6, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Google Pixel, resigning some features and specifications.
