Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 3 has an overall score of 80.7, which is a bit better than HTC One M9's 77.7 score. Both devices we are comparing here work with the same Android 5.0 OS, so you shouldn't notice any difference in that aspect. Galaxy Note 3's construction is somewhat thinner than HTC One M9, but it's a bit heavier and was released around a year before.

HTC One M9 counts with a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have 8 processing cores, a 600 megahertz GPU and 3 GB of RAM, the HTC One M9 also has a 64-bit CPU. The HTC One M9 has a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1920 x 1080px resolution, the HTC One M9 also counts with a bit greater screen pixels density.

The Galaxy Note 3 features a bigger storage to install applications and games than HTC One M9, because although it has an external memory card slot that admits 64 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. HTC One M9 shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same video definition, the same 30 fps video frame rates and a F2.2 camera aperture, the HTC One M9 also has a much larger camera sensor and a camera in the back with much more megapixels.

Galaxy Note 3 features just a bit longer battery life than HTC One M9, because it has a 3200mAh battery size.

Although Galaxy Note 3 is a better device, it costs more money than HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the HTC One M9. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Note 3, else you can save some money and buy the HTC One M9, giving up some specifications.
