Comparison review
Galaxy S6 is a little bit better than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, getting an 85.1 score against 78.7. Galaxy S6's body is just a bit thinner and lighter than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, despite of the fact that it was released just 21 months before. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S6 has 5.0 version while Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Samsung Galaxy S6 has a bit better processor than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with a 64-bits processor and an additional GPU. Galaxy S6 counts with a better looking screen than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have an equal 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a bit higher display pixel density.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a much better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S6, because it has 64 GB more internal storage. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy S6, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. The Samsung Galaxy S6 takes slightly better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also has a camera in the back with much more megapixels, a bigger camera aperture for better captures and videos in low-light environments and a larger sensor.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, Galaxy S6 is also a bargain compared to others, which makes this phone a great choice.
