LG Ally has a general score of 46.4, which is a little bit better than Kyocera Hydro Plus's score of 44.9. Although the LG Ally is a better phone than the Kyocera Hydro Plus, we must tell that it's also an a lot older, thicker and extremely heavier phone. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but LG Ally has the older 2.2 version while Kyocera Hydro Plus has Android 4.0 version.
Kyocera Hydro Plus features a bit more powerful CPU than LG Ally, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Kyocera Hydro Plus also has a much better graphics processor running at 245 MHz and 256 MB more RAM. LG Ally has a more vivid screen than Kyocera Hydro Plus, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot more pixels per display inch and a way better 800 x 480 pixels resolution.
Kyocera Hydro Plus features a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than LG Ally, because it has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 32 GB and more internal storage. The Kyocera Hydro Plus and the LG Ally count with very similar cameras, both of them have a back facing camera with a 3.2 mega-pixels resolution.
The LG Ally has a battery life that's just as good as Kyocera Hydro Plus's battery lifetime.
