The LG G2 is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, with a score of 73.5 against 72.1. The LG G2 design is a little bit lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, but it is thicker and was released 4 years before. Both phones in this comparison review have Android OS (Operating System), but the LG G2 has 4.4.2 version and Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Android 7.0 Nougat.

The LG G2 counts with just a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has less RAM memory and less cores , it also counts with a graphics co-processor. LG G2 features a much more vibrant display than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a lot higher display pixels density.

The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 features a superior memory to install applications and games than LG G2, because it has more internal memory capacity. LG G2 captures a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for low light photography and video, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same resolution camera in the back, the LG G2 also counts with higher video frame rates.
