Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S5 is a little bit better than the LG G3, having a 77.7 score against 74.1. Samsung Galaxy S5 is a a bit thinner and just a bit lighter cellphone than LG G3, even though they were released with only a couple of months difference. Both phones we compare here come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy S5 has 4.4.2 version while LG G3 has Android 5.0 version.
LG G3 features a slightly better screen than Galaxy S5, because it has a little bit higher 2560 x 1440 resolution, a higher pixel density and a little larger screen. Samsung Galaxy S5 counts with a processor that is very similar to LG G3's processing unit, and although the Samsung Galaxy S5 has a much better graphics processing unit working at 500 megahertz, they both have 4 CPU cores and 2 GB of RAM memory.
Galaxy S5 shoots a bit better photographs and videos than LG G3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Galaxy S5 also has a larger sensor providing a better image quality, a more megapixels camera in the back and a larger camera aperture for better images and videos in low-light situations.
The Galaxy S5 features as much memory capacity to install games and applications as the LG G3, both of them have an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB and exactly the same 16 GB internal memory capacity. The LG G3 has just a bit better battery performance than Galaxy S5, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity against 2800mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 not only is the best phones in this comparison, but it's also by far the cheapest.
