The LG Velvet has an overall score of 87.1, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge's global score of 81.7. LG Velvet's body is newer and just a bit thinner, but a little heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. Samsung Galaxy Note Edge counts with a more vivid display than LG Velvet, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a greater amount of pixels per inch in the screen.

The LG Velvet counts with a much bigger storage for applications and games than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has 96 GB more internal memory capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. Galaxy Note Edge features a little better hardware performance than LG Velvet, because although it has 3 GB lesser RAM memory and less cpu cores , it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.

LG Velvet has a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh. The LG Velvet features a much better camera than Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the LG Velvet also has a much bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a way better image quality, a bigger aperture to take better images in poorly lited environments and a back camera with a lot better 48 mega pixels resolution.

In addition to being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the LG Velvet is also a bargain compared to others.
