Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is just a bit better than the Motorola DROID Turbo, with an 81.1 score against 77.9. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a more recent 5.0 version and Motorola DROID Turbo has Android 4.4.4 version, so it offers some nice extra features and optimized performance. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 body is a bit lighter and noticeably thinner than Motorola DROID Turbo, despite of the fact that it was released about 14 months before.

Motorola DROID Turbo features a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same number of cores and 3 GB of RAM, the Motorola DROID Turbo also has a faster 500 megahertz graphics processor. The Motorola DROID Turbo has a slightly better display than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixels quantity per inch of screen and a better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution.

Motorola DROID Turbo takes a little bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has slower video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Motorola DROID Turbo also counts with a larger aperture to capture better images in poorly lited environments and a camera with much more megapixels.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a superior storage capacity for games and applications than Motorola DROID Turbo, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 also has an external memory slot that admits up to 64 GB. The Motorola DROID Turbo counts with longer battery duration than Galaxy Note 3, because it has a 22 percent bigger battery size.

Although Galaxy Note 3 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Motorola DROID Turbo, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola DROID Turbo. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Motorola DROID Turbo, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
