Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a bit better than the Moto Z2 Play, getting a general score of 81.8 against 77.4. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge's construction is just a little lighter than Moto Z2 Play, although it's somewhat thicker and was released many years before. The Galaxy S6 Edge has a way better looking screen than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better screen density and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

The Galaxy S6 Edge features a bit faster processor than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64-bit CPU and an extra graphics processing unit. Moto Z2 Play features a better camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 video quality and a much worse 12 mega-pixels resolution back camera, it also counts with a bigger aperture for better low-light photography.

Motorola Moto Z2 Play counts with a much bigger storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB and 64 GB internal storage capacity. Moto Z2 Play features a little longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 15% larger battery size.

Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more than Moto Z2 Play, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Moto Z2 Play. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Moto Z2 Play, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most with your budget.
