Comparison review
Galaxy S6 has an overall score of 87.3, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy A50's 83.8 global score. Galaxy S6's design is just a little thinner and lighter than Samsung Galaxy A50, even though it was released many years before. The Samsung Galaxy S6 features a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A50, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with a 64-bits processor and an additional graphics processing unit.
Samsung Galaxy S6 counts with a much better looking display than Galaxy A50, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440 resolution and a better pixel quantity in each screen inch. The Galaxy A50 features a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S6, because although it has a tinier sensor capturing lower quality images, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Galaxy A50 also counts with a bigger camera aperture to capture better images and videos in poorly lited situations and a much better 25 MP resolution camera in the back.
Samsung Galaxy A50 has a much greater storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 512 GB. Galaxy A50 has a very superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S6, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy S6 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy A50, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy A50. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Galaxy A50, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your money.
