Both of these phones have Android operating system, but LG V40 ThinQ has the newer 10 version and Galaxy Note 3 has Android 5.0, offering a couple additional features and improved performance. LG V40 ThinQ's body is noticeably newer and just a bit thinner, but just a little bit heavier than Galaxy Note 3.
