Apple iPhone 8 Plus has an overall score of 87.1, which is just a bit better than Galaxy Note 3's global score of 81.1. Even though the Apple iPhone 8 Plus is heavier than the Galaxy Note 3, it's just a little thinner and newer. Apple iPhone 8 Plus has a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, and they both have 3 GB of RAM, the Apple iPhone 8 Plus also counts with a greater number of cores and a 64 bits processing unit.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a little more vivid display than iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has a bit less pixels per screen inch, and they both have an equal resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 also counts with a quite bigger screen. The Apple iPhone 8 Plus captures slightly better photos and videos than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a camera with lesser mega pixels resolution and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture for better low-light photos and videos and a larger sensor.

So if you want that extra specs, you can buy iPhone 8 Plus, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy Note 3, resigning some specs and features.
