Both phones in our current comparison come with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has 5.0 version and Motorola DROID Turbo 2 has Android 5.1. Samsung Galaxy Note 3's design is just a little lighter and just a little thinner than the Motorola DROID Turbo 2, although it was released many years before.

The Motorola DROID Turbo 2 counts with a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better number of pixels per inch of screen and a better 2560 x 1440 resolution. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 counts with a quite superior performance than Motorola DROID Turbo 2, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 also has a greater number of cores and an additional graphics processor.

Motorola DROID Turbo 2 captures a little bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Motorola DROID Turbo 2 also has a bigger aperture to take better low-light captures and videos and a camera with way more mega-pixels.

The Motorola DROID Turbo 2 has a very superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Motorola DROID Turbo 2 also has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. Motorola DROID Turbo 2 counts with a bit superior battery duration than Galaxy Note 3, because it has an 18% more battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Note 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Motorola DROID Turbo 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola DROID Turbo 2. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Note 3, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Motorola DROID Turbo 2, giving up a couple features and specifications.
