Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 3 has a global score of 81.1, which is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia Z3's score of 75.9. These phones work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Note 3 has 5.0 version while Sony Xperia Z3 has Android 4.4.4, so it provides you some nice extra features. Although the Galaxy Note 3 is better than the Sony Xperia Z3, it must be told that it's also an older, thicker and just a little bit heavier phone.

The Sony Xperia Z3 counts with a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1920 x 1080px resolution, the Sony Xperia Z3 also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display. The Sony Xperia Z3 has a little bit better performance than Galaxy Note 3. Both of them have 3 GB of RAM, a 450 MHz graphics processing unit and the same number of cores.

The Xperia Z3 counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video definition, the Xperia Z3 also has a back camera with a lot higher 20.7 MP resolution, a way larger sensor taking lot higher quality photographs and a bigger camera aperture for better low light images.

The Galaxy Note 3 features much more storage to install applications and games than Xperia Z3, because although it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Note 3 has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Z3, because it has a 3200mAh battery size against 3100mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xperia Z3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xperia Z3. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the Xperia Z3, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
