Comparison review

Galaxy Note 4 has a global score of 79.2, which is slightly better than Motorola Moto Z2 Play's 77.4 global score. Although the Galaxy Note 4 is better than the Motorola Moto Z2 Play, we must note that it's also incredibly older, notably thicker and somewhat heavier. The Motorola Moto Z2 Play has a bit superior processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Motorola Moto Z2 Play also has 1 GB more RAM.

The Galaxy Note 4 features a much better looking screen than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because it has a quite larger display, a greater pixel number in each inch in the display and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 shoots slightly better photos and videos than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a lot smaller aperture which is not favorable for shooting photos and/or video in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 also counts with a back camera with way more MP.

Moto Z2 Play features a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Galaxy Note 4 features just a bit better battery duration than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 3220mAh battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Note 4 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Motorola Moto Z2 Play, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Motorola Moto Z2 Play. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Note 4, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Motorola Moto Z2 Play, giving up a couple features and specs.
