Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a general score of 81.6, which is a bit better than the HTC One M9's overall score of 77.7. These phones use the same Android 5.0 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't notice any difference in that aspect. Samsung Galaxy Note 4's body is thinner but heavier than the HTC One M9, and they were released with only a couple months difference.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 counts with a little sharper display than HTC One M9, because it has a little bit larger display, a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a just a little higher screen pixels density. HTC One M9 counts with a bit faster CPU than Galaxy Note 4, and although they both have a 3 GB RAM memory, the HTC One M9 also has a faster graphics processor running at 600 megahertz, a larger number of cores and a 64-bit CPU.

The HTC One M9 features as much memory capacity for games and applications as the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 one, both have the same 32 GB internal storage capacity and a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 counts with a little better battery lifetime than HTC One M9, because it has a 3220mAh battery capacity instead of 2840mAh.

HTC One M9 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Galaxy Note 4, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, a F2.2 aperture and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the HTC One M9 also has a bigger sensor capturing higher quality videos and photographs and a more MP back facing camera.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is a better device, it is way more expensive than HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HTC One M9. If you want to save some dollars, you can get HTC One M9, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
