The Galaxy Note 4 has a score of 81.6, which is much better than Motorola Moto X (2014)'s 73.4 general score. Although the Galaxy Note 4 and Motorola Moto X (2014) were released with only 0 months difference, Galaxy Note 4's body is somewhat heavier but also somewhat thinner than Motorola Moto X (2014). These devices work with the same Android 5.0 OS (Operating System).

Galaxy Note 4 counts with a little sharper screen than Moto X (2014), because it has a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px, a little bit better screen pixel density and a little bit bigger screen. The Galaxy Note 4 has just a bit better processing power than Moto X (2014), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note 4 also has a much better graphics co-processor working at 500 MHz and a greater amount of RAM memory.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 shoots clearer pictures and videos than Moto X (2014), and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, a F2.2 aperture and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 also has a larger back camera sensor capturing better quality videos and photographs and a more mega-pixels camera in the back.

The Galaxy Note 4 counts with a much bigger memory for apps and games than Moto X (2014), and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Note 4 also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a much longer battery life than Motorola Moto X (2014), because it has a 3220mAh battery capacity.

Despite of being the best phone in our comparison, the Galaxy Note 4 is also a bit cheaper, which makes this phone an easy choice.
