Comparison review

Galaxy Note Edge is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, getting an 81.7 score against 80.7. These devices use the same Android 5.0 operating system, so you shouldn't notice any differences in that aspect. The Galaxy Note Edge body has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, but it's a bit heavier.

The Galaxy Note Edge counts with a little sharper display than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440 resolution and a greater display pixel density. The Galaxy Note 3 features a greater storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has a SD extension slot that holds up to 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.

Galaxy Note Edge counts with a bit better performance than Galaxy Note 3, although it has a slower graphics processing unit and 4 lesser CPU cores , they both have 3 GB of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 7 percent greater battery size.

The Galaxy Note Edge has a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the same aperture and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Galaxy Note Edge also has a better 16 mega-pixels resolution camera and a bigger back-facing camera sensor which offers a better photo and video quality.

Although Galaxy Note Edge is a better device, it costs more than the Galaxy Note 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Note 3. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Note Edge, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Galaxy Note 3, letting go some features and specifications.
