Comparison review

The Galaxy Note Edge has a general score of 81.7, which is slightly better than the Xperia Z4v's score of 78.8. Galaxy Note Edge's design is just a little thinner than Xperia Z4v, but it's a bit heavier and was released only 10 months before. Both phones in this comparison work with Android OS, but Galaxy Note Edge has the previous 5.0 version while Xperia Z4v has Android 5.1.

The Galaxy Note Edge counts with a little better processing power than Xperia Z4v, although it has a slower GPU and an inferior number of cores (but faster), they both have 3 GB of RAM memory. Sony Xperia Z4v counts with a slightly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 2560 x 1440 resolution, the Sony Xperia Z4v also counts with a bit greater quantity of pixels in each inch in the display.

Sony Xperia Z4v counts with as much memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos as Galaxy Note Edge, both of them have exactly the same internal storage and an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB. Sony Xperia Z4v features a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia Z4v also has a larger aperture for better low-light photos and videos, a much more mega-pixels back facing camera and a bigger back-facing camera sensor.

Xperia Z4v features a battery lifetime that is very similar to the battery performance in Galaxy Note Edge.

Samsung Galaxy Note Edge and the Xperia Z4v cost the same, which makes this phone a simple decision.
