Samsung Galaxy S6 has a global score of 85.1, which is a bit better than Galaxy Note Edge's global score of 81.7. The Samsung Galaxy S6 body is way lighter and somewhat thinner than Galaxy Note Edge, even when they were only released with a couple of months difference. Both of these devices come with the same Android 5.0 OS (Operating System), so they should offer all the same OS features.
Samsung Galaxy S6 features a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 2560 x 1440, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with a just a bit better pixels density. Samsung Galaxy S6 counts with a bit superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also has 4 more CPU cores (but slower), a 64 bits processing unit and a better GPU running at 650 MHz.
The Galaxy S6 takes just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the same resolution camera in the back, the same sensor size and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Galaxy S6 also has a bigger aperture for better low light photography and video.
The Galaxy Note Edge features just a bit bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a bit better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S6, because it has an 18 percent greater battery capacity.
Even being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, Galaxy S6 is also by far the cheapest, which makes buying this phone an easy decision.
