Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 is a little bit better than the Galaxy Note8, getting an 87.3 score against 83. The Galaxy S6 is an extremely older cellphone than Galaxy Note8, but Samsung managed to make it lighter and a lot thinner. These phones include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy S6 has the older 5.0 version and Galaxy Note8 has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Galaxy S6 counts with a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a graphics processor and a 64-bits processing unit. The Galaxy S6 counts with a sharper screen than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little higher screen density.
Samsung Galaxy S6 takes a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller sensor taking less light and duller colors and a smaller aperture which is not favorable for taking pictures and video in low light environments, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels.
The Galaxy Note8 counts with a little bit more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S6, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB. The Galaxy Note8 features superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S6, because it has a 29 percent larger battery capacity.
Even being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, Galaxy S6 is also by far the cheapest, which makes it an easy decision.
