Galaxy S III is much better than LG Nitro HD, getting a global score of 70.8 against 62.6. The Galaxy S III construction is a bit heavier but somewhat thinner than LG Nitro HD, and they were released only a few months apart. These phones use Android operating system, but Galaxy S III has a newer 4.1.2 version and LG Nitro HD has Android 2.3.5 version, so it provides the user some extra features and optimized performance.
The LG Nitro HD has a bit better looking screen than Galaxy S III, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1280 x 720px, the LG Nitro HD also counts with a quite higher quantity of pixels per inch in the screen. Galaxy S III has much more storage for applications and games than LG Nitro HD, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 64 GB and more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy S III counts with a little better battery life than LG Nitro HD, because it has a 2100mAh battery size.
Samsung Galaxy S III costs the same than LG Nitro HD, making it an easy choice.
