Huawei P40 is better than the Galaxy S4, with a overall score of 86.4 against 78.3. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei P40 has 10 version and Galaxy S4 has Android 5.0 version, giving you some additional features. Huawei P40's body is notably newer, but a bit thicker and heavier than Galaxy S4.
Huawei P40 has a superior processing power than Samsung Galaxy S4, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei P40 also has more RAM memory. Galaxy S4 features a slightly better looking display than Huawei P40, because although it has a quite smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 1920 x 1080, it also counts with a little better screen density.
Huawei P40 has a lot better camera than Galaxy S4, because it has a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a lot bigger back camera sensor, a larger camera aperture and a camera in the back with a way better resolution. Huawei P40 counts with just a bit bigger storage to install games and applications than Galaxy S4, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
The Huawei P40 counts with a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy S4, because it has 3800mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
