Both phones in this review work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S4 has the older 4.4 version and Google Nexus 4 has Android 5.0.
Galaxy S4 features a bit better display than Google Nexus 4, because it has a greater screen pixels density, a little bigger screen and a much higher resolution of 1920 x 1080. Galaxy S4 features a bit faster CPU than Google Nexus 4. They have 2 GB of RAM memory, a 400 megahertz graphics co-processor and the same number of cores.
Samsung Galaxy S4 takes much clearer photos and videos than Google Nexus 4, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy S4 also has a way bigger back-facing camera sensor taking lot higher quality photographs and videos and a way better resolution back facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 has a much bigger memory to install games and applications than Google Nexus 4, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 64 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy S4 features improved battery performance than Google Nexus 4, because it has 2600mAh of battery capacity.
