Comparison review

The Galaxy S5 is a bit better than the LG G3, having a general score of 77.7 against 76.4. Both of these devices have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S5 has 4.4.2 version and LG G3 has Android 5.0 version. The Galaxy S5 body is just a little bit lighter and a bit thinner than the LG G3, even though both were released only a couple months apart.

LG G3 counts with a bit faster CPU than Galaxy S5, because although it has a weaker 450 MHz graphics processing unit, and they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the LG G3 also counts with 1 GB more RAM memory. The LG G3 features a slightly better looking display than Galaxy S5, because it has a quite better 2560 x 1440 resolution, a greater pixels density and a little bigger display.

LG G3 counts with a much greater storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5, and although they both have an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB, the LG G3 also has 16 GB more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy S5 features a little bit better camera than LG G3, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also has a larger camera sensor shooting higher quality photographs and videos, a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light photography and a back facing camera with a higher 16 mega pixels resolution.

LG G3 features just a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy S5, because it has a 7% larger battery capacity.

The Galaxy S5 is a bit more expensive than the LG G3, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
