Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus is slightly better than the Galaxy S4, with a global score of 78.1 against 77.3. Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus's design is newer, but just a little bit thicker and somewhat heavier than the Galaxy S4. Both of these phones use the same Android 4.4.2 OS (operating system). Galaxy S5 Plus and Galaxy S4 count with quite similar screens, because although the Galaxy S4 has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1920 x 1080px resolution, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per screen inch.

Samsung Galaxy S4 features a greater memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy S4, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus also has a much better 500 MHz GPU.

The Galaxy S5 Plus captures just a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S4, and although they both have a same size aperture, the Galaxy S5 Plus also has a bigger camera sensor which offers a higher photo and video quality, a back-facing camera with more megapixels and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.

Galaxy S5 Plus features just a bit better battery duration than Galaxy S4, because it has an 8 percent bigger battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus is a better device, it costs more than the Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S4. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy S4, giving up some features and specs.
