Comparison review

The Galaxy S6 has a general score of 85.1, which is a little bit better than the Moto Z2 Play's global score of 77.4. Galaxy S6's design is just a bit lighter than the Moto Z2 Play, although it's thicker and was released 2 years before. Galaxy S6 counts with a bit better performance than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy S6 also counts with an additional graphics co-processor and a 64-bits processing unit.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 features a way better looking display than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixels density and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Motorola Moto Z2 Play has a very superior storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S6, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Motorola Moto Z2 Play also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.

Samsung Galaxy S6 counts with just a bit better camera than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for capturing images and videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with a much higher 16 mega-pixels resolution back camera.

The Moto Z2 Play features just a little bit longer battery performance than Galaxy S6, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2550mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy S6 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Motorola Moto Z2 Play, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Motorola Moto Z2 Play. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S6, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Motorola Moto Z2 Play, giving up some specs and features.
