The Samsung Galaxy S6 has a global score of 87.3, which is just a bit better than the Google Pixel 3 XL's overall score of 80.7. The Samsung Galaxy S6 is an a lot older cellphone than the Google Pixel 3 XL, but Samsung managed to make it notably lighter and somewhat thinner. Samsung Galaxy S6 features a better display than Google Pixel 3 XL, because although it has a bit lower 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little better display pixels density.

Galaxy S6 features a much greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Pixel 3 XL, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy S6 features a little better processing power than Google Pixel 3 XL, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with an extra graphics processor and a 64 bits processing unit.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 captures clearer pictures and videos than Google Pixel 3 XL, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor offering a worse image quality and a smaller aperture which is not good for taking photographs and video in low-light situations, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with a much higher 16 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back.

The Google Pixel 3 XL counts with improved battery lifetime than Galaxy S6, because it has a 35 percent greater battery capacity.

Although Galaxy S6 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Pixel 3 XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 3 XL. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy S6, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Google Pixel 3 XL, resigning a couple specifications.
