Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a general score of 81.8, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note 3's 81.1 global score. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge's construction is newer, somewhat thinner and much lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Both of these devices use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has 5.0 version while Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has Android 4.4.2 version.
The Galaxy S6 Edge features a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a greater pixels density. The Galaxy S6 Edge has a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have a 3 GB RAM, the Galaxy S6 Edge also has a much better graphics co-processor running at 650 MHz, more cores and a 64-bit processing unit.
Galaxy Note 3 features a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB and 32 GB more internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a much better camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a worse video definition, a smaller back camera sensor providing a worse image quality, a tinier aperture which is not nice for low-light images and a lesser megapixels back facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features better battery life than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 23% greater battery capacity.
Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs more money than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy Note 3. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your budget.
