LG Velvet is slightly better than Galaxy S6 Edge, with a global score of 87.1 against 85.7. LG Velvet is a incredibly newer phone than Galaxy S6 Edge, but it's heavier and just a little bit thicker. Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a much more vibrant display than LG Velvet, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a little higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a better pixels density.

LG Velvet counts with a lot bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the LG Velvet also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 1,95 TB. The Galaxy S6 Edge has a bit better CPU than LG Velvet, because although it has 3 GB lesser RAM, and they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with an additional graphics co-processor and a 64-bit processing unit.

The LG Velvet counts with a way better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity against 2600mAh. LG Velvet takes much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the LG Velvet also has a way better resolution camera, a much bigger back camera sensor shooting much higher quality videos and photographs and a bigger aperture.

Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, LG Velvet is also a bargain compared to others.
