Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 has a global score of 87.3, which is just a bit better than the LG G8X ThinQ's global score of 82.7. Galaxy S6's design is thinner and noticeably lighter than LG G8X ThinQ, even though it was released many years before. These phones include Android operating system, but the Galaxy S6 has the previous 5.0 version and LG G8X ThinQ has Android 10 version.
The Galaxy S6 has just a bit better hardware performance than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has 3 GB less RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a 64-bit CPU and an extra graphics processor. The Galaxy S6 has a much sharper screen than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and a higher amount of pixels per display inch.
LG G8X ThinQ features a slightly better camera than Galaxy S6, because although it has a worse (4K) video resolution and a way worse resolution camera, it also counts with a larger camera aperture to take better photos and video in low-light environments and a bigger camera sensor providing a higher image quality.
LG G8X ThinQ counts with much more storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S6, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the LG G8X ThinQ also has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG G8X ThinQ counts with a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy S6, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is a little more expensive than LG G8X ThinQ, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
