Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 is just a bit better than the LG Velvet, having an 87.3 score against 87.1. Although the Galaxy S6 is incredibly older than the LG Velvet, it's body is thinner and extremely lighter. The Samsung Galaxy S6 features a way better looking display than LG Velvet, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a higher screen density and a little bit higher resolution of 2560 x 1440.
LG Velvet counts with a much greater storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the LG Velvet also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Galaxy S6 has a little bit better performance than LG Velvet, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and an additional graphics processor.
LG Velvet features a superior camera than Galaxy S6, and although they both have the same video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the LG Velvet also has a much larger sensor providing a way better image quality, a lot more MP back-facing camera and a larger aperture to capture better photography in low light situations.
LG Velvet features a much longer battery duration than Galaxy S6, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, Samsung Galaxy S6 is also a bit cheaper.
