Both of these phones include Android OS, but the Galaxy S6 has 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy Note8 has Android 9.0 Pie version. Even though the Galaxy S6 is noticeably older than Samsung Galaxy Note8, it's design is extremely thinner and way lighter.
