Comparison review
Galaxy S6 is a bit better than the LG G8 ThinQ, with an 87.3 score against 84.3. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S6 has the older 5.0 version while LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Galaxy S6 is an older device than the LG G8 ThinQ, but it is lighter and thinner anyway.
The Galaxy S6 has a little sharper display than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a bit lower 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, it also counts with a little bit higher pixel quantity per inch of display. The LG G8 ThinQ counts with much more memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6, and although they both have the same internal memory, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Galaxy S6 counts with a little faster CPU than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a 64 bits CPU and an extra graphics co-processor. The LG G8 ThinQ has better battery lifetime than Galaxy S6, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity against 2550mAh.
The LG G8 ThinQ features a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S6, because although it has a worse video resolution and a camera with a way worse resolution, and they both have a 0.38 inches back camera sensor, the LG G8 ThinQ also counts with a lot bigger aperture to capture better captures and video in poorly lited situations.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G8 ThinQ. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S6, otherwise you can save some money and get the LG G8 ThinQ, letting go some specs and features.
