Comparison review
The Galaxy S7 is better than Motorola DROID MAXX 2, getting a general score of 79.5 against 67.7. Even when the Galaxy S7 and the Motorola DROID MAXX 2 were released only a couple months apart, the Galaxy S7 is incredibly thinner and somewhat lighter. The Galaxy S7 counts with a bit sharper screen than Motorola DROID MAXX 2, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a greater display pixel density.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 counts with a much greater storage for games and applications than Motorola DROID MAXX 2, because it has an external SD slot that allows up to 200 GB and 32 GB internal storage. Samsung Galaxy S7 features a more powerful CPU than Motorola DROID MAXX 2, because it has a greater amount of RAM and a larger number of cores (and also faster).
Motorola DROID MAXX 2 has greater battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S7, because it has a 3630mAh battery size.
