Comparison review

Galaxy Note 3 is slightly better than Xperia Z3, with an 80.7 score against 77.3. These devices come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Note 3 has newer 5.0 version and Xperia Z3 has Android 4.4.4, so it provides you some nice extra features. The Galaxy Note 3 construction is a little bit lighter and a little bit thinner than the Xperia Z3, although it was released only 12 months before.

Xperia Z3 features a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, although it has a slower GPU running at 450 MHz and 4 less cores , they both have 3 GB of RAM memory. The Xperia Z3 features just a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same 1920 x 1080px resolution, the Xperia Z3 also counts with a bit greater pixels density.

The Galaxy Note 3 counts with a quite bigger storage to install games and applications than Xperia Z3, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage. The Xperia Z3 and the Galaxy Note 3 both count with incredibly similar batteries performance.

The Sony Xperia Z3 has a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Sony Xperia Z3 also has a way larger back-facing camera sensor providing a much better image quality, a much better 20.7 MP resolution back-facing camera and a bigger camera aperture for better low-light images and videos.

Although Galaxy Note 3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Sony Xperia Z3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Sony Xperia Z3. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Sony Xperia Z3, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
