Comparison review

The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is better than OnePlus 5, with a 79.8 score against 69.6. Although it's the best phone in our current comparison, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium design is older, heavier and a little thicker than the OnePlus 5. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a much sharper display than OnePlus 5, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has a lot higher pixel count per inch in the display and a much higher 3840 x 2160 resolution.

OnePlus 5 counts with a bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. The OnePlus 5 counts with a little faster processor than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 5 also counts with more RAM memory.

Sony Xperia Z5 Premium shoots clearer photos and videos than OnePlus 5, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low-light captures, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a bigger sensor capturing higher quality videos and photographs and a camera in the back with a much better resolution.

The Xperia Z5 Premium has a little longer battery duration than OnePlus 5, because it has a 4% greater battery size.

Xperia Z5 Premium costs a bit more than the OnePlus 5, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
