Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Edge is slightly better than the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, getting an 81.8 score against 79.8. Both phones in this comparison have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy S6 Edge has older 5.0 version while Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1 version. The Galaxy S6 Edge is a a lot lighter and just a little bit thinner phone than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, even when both were only released 5 months apart.
The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with just a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a quite bigger screen, a higher screen density and a lot better resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. The Xperia Z5 Premium features a lot bigger memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 200 GB.
The Galaxy S6 Edge has a little faster processing unit than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor and 3 GB of RAM memory, the Galaxy S6 Edge also has a much better graphics co-processor working at 650 MHz and a 64-bits processor. Xperia Z5 Premium has longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
The Xperia Z5 Premium features a lot better camera than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a back facing camera with a way higher 23 MP resolution, a bigger camera aperture for better photography in low-light environments and a larger back-facing camera sensor.
Galaxy S6 Edge is not only the best phones of the ones we are comparing, but it's also by far the cheapest, making this phone a no doubt choice.
