Comparison review
The iPad Air 2 has a score of 74.2, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch's global score of 73.4. Despite being the best tablet device in this review, we must tell that it's also older, a little thicker and extremely heavier. IPad Air 2 comes with iOS 8.x operating system, and Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch comes with Android 5.0 operating system.
Apple iPad Air 2 has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Apple iPad Air 2 also counts with a 64-bit CPU. Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch features a bit sharper display than Apple iPad Air 2, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 2048 x 1536 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch of screen.
Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch counts with a superior storage to store more apps and games than Apple iPad Air 2, because it has 48 GB more internal storage and a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB. The Apple iPad Air 2 has a much longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch, because it has 7340mAh of battery capacity.
The iPad Air 2 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch. Both of them have a back-facing camera with an 8 MP, the same video frame rate and the same video resolution.
