Comparison review
Apple iPad Pro is a bit better than the iPad Air, having a 78.7 score against 77.7. Although the Apple iPad Pro is heavier than the iPad Air, it's a bit thinner and a lot newer. The iPad Air has a brighter screen than iPad Pro, although it has a really smaller display, a little bit lower pixel density and a lot worse resolution of 1536 x 2048px.
The Apple iPad Air has just a bit better hardware performance than Apple iPad Pro, because although it has 3 GB lesser RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Apple iPad Air also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and an additional GPU. IPad Pro shoots just a bit better videos and photos than iPad Air, and although they both have a F2.4 diafragm aperture, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same video resolution, the iPad Pro also has a camera in the back with a way higher resolution.
The iPad Air features as much storage to install games and applications as the iPad Pro, both of them have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity. The iPad Pro features greater battery duration than iPad Air, because it has a 10307mAh battery size.
Although iPad Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than Apple iPad Air, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Apple iPad Air. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the iPad Pro, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Apple iPad Air, letting go some specifications.
