Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a general score of 73.3, which is a bit better than Huawei MediaPad X2's general score of 70.4. Both of these tablets have Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has the previous 4.4.2 version and Huawei MediaPad X2 has Android 5.0 version. Even though the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is older and somewhat heavier than Huawei MediaPad X2, it's design is still a bit thinner.
Huawei MediaPad X2 has a bit better performance than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also counts with a 64-bit CPU. Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, although it has a bit smaller display, a lot lower 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution and a bit lower display density.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Huawei MediaPad X2, although it has a camera in the back with a way worse 8 mega-pixels resolution and a worse (Full HD) video definition. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4's memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos is very similar to the Huawei MediaPad X2 one, both have a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB and equal internal memory.
Huawei MediaPad X2 features just a bit better battery life than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a 2 percent bigger battery capacity.
In addition to being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is also by far the cheapest one, making this tablet an obvious call.
