Comparison review
The iPad Air is much better than Microsoft Surface Go, getting a global score of 74.1 against 66.5. The iPad Air is an much older device than Microsoft Surface Go, but it's a bit lighter and just a bit thinner anyway. IPad Air comes with iOS 8.x OS, and Microsoft Surface Go comes with Windows 10 OS.
IPad Air counts with a bit better processor than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the iPad Air also counts with an additional graphics co-processor and a 64-bits processor. The iPad Air counts with an incredibly better looking display than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and a little bit higher pixel count in each inch in the screen.
The Microsoft Surface Go has a much better storage capacity for applications and games than iPad Air, because it has 96 GB more internal storage capacity. The iPad Air counts with a way better battery performance than Microsoft Surface Go. IPad Air shoots much clearer videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Go, although it has a worse (Full HD) video resolution and a camera in the back with a way worse 5 megapixels resolution.
IPad Air not only is the best tablets in our current comparison, but it's also very cheap compared to the other tablets, which makes this tablet an obvious call.
