Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a bit better than Microsoft Surface Pro, with a overall score of 68.5 against 63.2. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 body is newer, noticeably thinner and lighter than Microsoft Surface Pro. Both of these devices have Windows operating system, but Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has 8.1 Pro version while Microsoft Surface Pro has Windows 8 Pro.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a bit more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a better 1440 x 2160px resolution, a little bit larger screen and a quite greater display pixel density. Microsoft Surface Pro counts with just a bit better processing power than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have a Dual-Core CPU, the Microsoft Surface Pro also counts with an extra graphics co-processor.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a much higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a lot more mega-pixels camera in the back. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features much more storage to store more games and applications than Microsoft Surface Pro, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3's battery duration is just as good as the Microsoft Surface Pro one.

In addition to being the best tablet in this comparison, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is also by far the cheapest.
