The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a score of 67.1, which is a bit better than Microsoft Surface Pro's score of 63.2. Galaxy Note 8.0's construction is extremely lighter and thinner than Microsoft Surface Pro, although they were only released with a couple months difference. The Galaxy Note 8.0 comes with Android 4.4.2 operating system, while Microsoft Surface Pro counts with Windows 8 Pro operating system.

The Microsoft Surface Pro features just a bit better display than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a way larger display, a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a just a bit higher display density. Microsoft Surface Pro has a way bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
