Apple iPad Air has an overall score of 75.7, which is a little bit better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 4's 75.1 global score. Despite of the fact that the Apple iPad Air is older than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, it's body is a little bit thinner and incredibly lighter. The Apple iPad Air comes with iOS 8.x OS, while Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has Windows 10 Pro OS.
IPad Air has an extremely better processor than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, because although it has less RAM memory, it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit, a larger number of cores and an additional graphics co-processor. The Apple iPad Air features a bit better looking display than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, although it has a lot worse resolution of 1536 x 2048px, a just a bit worse pixel count per inch in the screen and a really smaller display.
Apple iPad Air has a greater camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, although it has a camera with much less mega-pixels resolution and a lower video definition. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has a superior memory to install games and applications than iPad Air, because it has 1000 GB internal storage capacity.
IPad Air counts with a way better battery duration than Microsoft Surface Pro 4.
