The Huawei MediaPad X2 is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, having a score of 72.7 against 68.6. Both tablets in this review use Android operating system, but Huawei MediaPad X2 has a newer 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has Android 4.2.2, so it provides you a couple additional features. The Huawei MediaPad X2 design is newer, noticeably lighter and just a bit thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 features a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with more CPU cores, 1,5 GB more RAM memory and a 64 bits CPU. Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a lot better display than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1920 x 1200px and a lot higher screen density.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 features slightly more storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also has an external memory slot that holds up to 128 GB. Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with just a little better battery performance than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
Huawei MediaPad X2 has just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a way higher video definition and a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels.
